• Ancillary Seminars - designed to provide ancillary providers (Dialysis, SNF, DME, HIT, ASC,Hospice, Home Health, and Mental/Subtance) with updated information on changes at CareFirst and may include special presentations on select topics.
• Webinars - A Web Based Training - designed to present CareFirst policies and procedures to professional and institutional providers, within the comforts of their own office workspace. These seminars will be one half hour long, but participants should allow for log on and instruction time. After enrolling, you will receive instructions 1 day prior to the presentation date, via email. There are several webinar types being offered:
  • Blue Choice - all BlueChoice policies and a review of referrals and authorizations.
  • MPOS - Maryland Point of Service - explanation of product and review of referrals and authorizations.
  • CareFirst Direct - Perform eligibility and benefits for local and out-of-area members.
